The Sea At Last

We were driving aimlessly along the Nisga’a Highway when we stopped to pick up a couple hitchhiking with their dog, Louis – their car had broken down at their campsite. We crammed into our car and spent the afternoon in town together eating battered halibut and searching for something we could use as an oil plug to fix their car. When we took them back to their campsite, we went for a quick paddle around the old mill site and proceeded to bless the winds of fate for bringing us here for one tiny moment.
